Dog can’t strop crying when he realizes he’s been abandoned at the shelter

"I don't think he realises the extent of what's happened but he's certainly upset by it. Breaks my heart."

It is sad to be separated from your loved ones, especially when you share a special bond.

But can dogs share that same feeling toward their owner?
Dogs cry when they feel sad.

Your pet dog can feel various emotions, such as happiness, frustration, and loneliness.

Experts share that dogs can express their feelings in various ways.

They can do it vocally by making joyful noises or expressing sadness through tears.

This was the same in the case of AJ when he was separated from his previous owner and brother.

AJ was devastated when his owners abandoned him.

The six-year-old dog had no idea that his owners would give him up.

Together with his brother, Toby, the dog felt fine before realizing they were left at the shelter.

It left them depressed because of the sudden change in their environment and being away from their known family.

The half-bred dog cannot stop weeping.

Feeling homesick made him lose hope, like he already gave up.

He refused to eat and socialize with his peers.
