After being born a little differently, this little pit bull is overcoming all odds

Probably the smallest pitbull in the entire world is Sasha. The dog was born early in September, and after just one day, she was already in dаngеr.

She was born with a cleft lip and palate. Sacha is considered “miraculous” by Marie DeMarco, the woman who created the organization FURRR 911 and is currently searching for the young girl, because he has already endured so much in his brief and vulnerable existence.

She informed The Dodo:

“He is defying all predictions. She’s shown that she wants to be here.

Courtney Bellew is the founder and director of SNARR Animal Rescue Northeast, a New York-based rеscuе group that focuses on assisting canines with particular needs. Sasha’s caregiver and the other puppies from her litter came up to her.

Courtney:

“Despite having a cleft palate and lip, the owner wanted to try to sаvе her. He took her to my house when she was extremely small and weak.

Since Sasha was unable to feed, Courtney immediately coordinated efforts with Marie, a professional nurse with extensive experience caring for newborn, injured, and critically ill kittens.

Courtney reasoned that Marie’s success with these frail creatures would help Sasha survivе as well. In order to keep the puppy warm during the trip, Marie prepared a heating pad and put the puppy in a kennel when Courtney delivered her the puppy.

Sasha weighed only 11 ounces on the first day. She didn’t experience any health problems until she was born with a cleft lip and palate. Marie noticed that compared to her little frame, Sasha’s head appeared to be bigger. A veterinarian reported that Sasha also had hydrocephalus, or an accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid in her brain. Her brain is only around one-third the size it should be.

Sasha also experienced respiratory and urinary infections, along with some orthopedic problems. The strong dog doesn’t give up, though.
