Dog Found In The Garbage Dump Because She Kept Crying Out For Help

Sidewalk Specials received an urgent call from a concerned manager who had spotted a dog trapped inside a garbage dump well. Nobody knew how the dog, later named Sammie, ended up there - whether she had accidentally fallen in or had been abandoned by her owner. 

Regardless, immediate action was needed to save her. Sammie had been crying for help for hours, with no access to food or water, and exposed to the blazing sun. A rescuer was quickly dispatched to the scene, and after being lowered down into the well, they were able to leash and lift Sammie to safety. Following a checkup at the vet, Sammie was placed in a loving foster home. 

But the most heartwarming part of Sammie's story came when she found her forever home, complete with a new best friend named Ash! Watching Sammie and Ash together is a pure delight, a testament to the incredible joy that pets can bring into our lives. Despite the difficult circumstances that brought Sammie to Sidewalk Specials, she now has a loving family to call her own, and a lifelong companion to share her days with.
