Man Spends Entire Day In The Blizzard Trying To Save Dying Puppies From A Pipe

In Serbia, a homeless dog named Hera gave birth during the harsh winter months, causing her considerable distress. With blizzards plaguing the region, Hera was unable to source food for her delicate newborns, and keeping them warm and nourished proved to be a challenging feat. She eventually retreated to a damp and frigid drainpipe located on the roadside, seeking refuge from the elements.

In the days that ensued, Hera remained fraught with anxiety regarding the well-being of her ailing offspring. She would emerge from the drainpipe whenever she heard the sound of a passing vehicle, imploring each passerby for assistance in securing a safe haven for her puppies. Yet, despite her desperate appeals, Hera’s efforts were met with apathy, and no one extended the shelter and warmth she so desperately sought for her young.

Hera’s puppies had never encountered humans before, leading them to exhibit intense fear and apprehension towards Milan. Despite Hera’s efforts to calm them down, the puppies remained rooted in their uncomfortable surroundings, oblivious to the prospect of a more fulfilling existence. As nightfall loomed, Milan was compelled to take swift action to persuade the puppies to vacate their bleak dwelling.

The following footage depicts Milan, a member of the “Dog Rescue Shelter Mladenovac,” traversing through treacherous roadways amidst a storm to save Hera, the homeless dog in distress.

A concerned traveler had alerted Milan to Hera’s presence, spurring him to take immediate action and relocate the canine to a safe and comfortable environment. Despite the majority of pipes in the region being buried under snow, Milan successfully tracked Hera’s location by following her paw-prints.

Upon Milan’s arrival, Hera’s countenance lit up with optimism, and she eagerly bounded towards him from the pipe. While overjoyed to see Hera’s friendly disposition, Milan was dismayed to discover her newborn puppies huddled inside, drenched and shivering. However, the task of rescuing the four-week-old puppies proved to be a more arduous undertaking than initially anticipated.
