AdоrabIe Vidео Captures A Dog’s Heartwarming Friendship With A Human Baby Brother
Whitney Parks, 37, of Boston, stated that her one-year-old Golden Retriever Hinckley was brought home as a new toy for her baby Theodore, who is due in October 2020.
Hinckley immediately became Theodore’s constant friend, napping, snuggling, and eating together after realizing Theodore was here to stay. Whitney, a communications professional, noted that Hinckley wants to be involved in everything Theodore does, indicating that dogs truly are man’s best friend. “When we initially brought Teddy home, Hinckley believed we had gotten him a new toy specifically for him,” Whitney explained. I can understand why he believed so after being the focus of our universe for a year. She would keep an eye on Teddy from our bed while he slept in his cradle, just marveling at his every move.”
After a few days, Hinckley understood the ‘toy’ was not his and would not be returning. Yet, from the moment Teddy arrived at the house, Hinckley became infatuated with him and demanded to be there in all of Teddy’s activities. During tummy time, Teddy and Hinckley enjoy snuggling on the couch or on the floor. ‘Hinckley attends each feeding. Teddy is usually on my left, and Hinckley is on my right; it’s a lovely time for the three of us to bond and hug. Hinckley will gently stroll away with Teddy’s nasty burp towel while I am not paying attention after Teddy has completed his bottle, and I can’t help but giggle.”
Whitney is happy that Theodore will grow up with a four-pawed older brother to protect him. “My heart warms watching the two of them together; it’s evident that Hinckley is taking on the role of big brother, looking out for his smaller sibling’s well-being,” Whitney said. I can’t get enough of it. I’m looking forward to the day when Teddy and Hinckley can interact more and become great buddies with infinite adventures. Hinckley is still unclear what Teddy is, but he knows he is unique and must keep an eye out for him.”
