Ukrainian hero risks his life to save a trapped dog

Dogs make the best companions for humans. Dogs are a unique species, providing emotional support, unconditional love, and even sometimes rescue services.

Even though dogs are there for us to guide us through some of the most challenging times, sometimes, we, as humans, need to be there for dogs as well, helping them out of certain situations.

In this video, a heroic man in Ukraine takes a significant risk to help a dog that’s trapped on a frozen river. Quickly springing into action, this man wastes no time making sure this dog will be ok.

Knowing that he’s about to be soaked with icy water, the hero strips down to nothing but his boxers. This move shows that this man knows his way around a few survival techniques.

As he breaks apart the ice, getting closer to the dog, you can hear the dog whimpering in the background—desperately waiting for assistance. The hero makes his way through the ice as fast as he can.

Eventually, getting close enough to help guide the dog back through the icy waters, he assists the sweet k9 all the way back to the shore. The dog shakes it off and is glad to be back on solid ground.

It’s people like this Ukrainian man that make our world great. An act of pure selflessness to save this poor dog shows the reliance and bravery of the people from this country.
