Baby’s First Steps Take Him Straight To His Dog

Vito the boxer was an only child. That is until his mom and dad had a baby of their own and everything changed.

Before the baby came along, 6-year-old Vito was the center of his owner’s universe. He was used to getting all the attention and he thought the world revolved around him, and it did.

Vito acted like a little person. He would even wait outside for the ice cream truck with the rest of the kids in the neighborhood. He was also a wild boy who loved to play and get into trouble whenever possible.

Then one-day mom found out she was expecting, and Vito knew it. As her tummy grew, the sweet boxer would gently lay his head on her stomach. During these moments, she was very curious about how her rowdy boy would act once the baby arrived.

Finally, the day came that Baby Luca came home. Vito was carefully introduced to him, but they didn’t need to worry. From the beginning, Vito was super curious but also very gentle and careful around the baby.

The rambunctious boxer was no longer a tornado indoors. He took his role as big brother very seriously. Vito quickly learned how to act around his new baby brother and always wanted to be near and protect him.

Vito also did some other amazing things. Vito had never played with toys before but now he’d collect them and take them to Luca so he could play with them. Clearly, Vito loved his little brother and wanted to make him happy.

But the love between the two wasn’t one-sided. One day, Luca took his first steps, and his parents were amazed that he didn’t head toward them. Nope, he stood up and toddled right over to his best friend, Vito.

Now that Luca is mobile, he and Vito run around together all day and love sharing snacks. They are truly best buds. Their mom says they’re partners in crime and that Vito is doing a great job helping to raise Luca.

We hope you enjoyed watching their sweet friendship. As always, please feel free to share with your friends.
