German Shepherd and Labrador become newborn baby’s closest friends

Recently, Jen had adopted a German Shepherd, Kona, and a yellow Labrador puppy Nala. When both the dogs met, it was not really love at first sight. However, their relationship progressed within a day, and they began playfully chasing each other, and they turned into littermates.

They would run all around the house and cuddle together whenever they napped. It was funny to find them sleeping in a small crate, leaving their more enormous comfortable boxes.

Jen thought that was the coolest thing she had ever seen. She was happy that they had bonded so well and were inseparable. The two of them had turned the planter in Jen’s yard into their own little racetrack.

After 5 months, the puppies had grown up and still continued their old habit of running around that planter. The dogs shared everything together, which showed that they treated each other like family.

When Jen found out she was pregnant, they were unsure how the dogs would react to the baby. But it was almost like they just instinctively knew that the baby was a part of their family.

The two dogs went up to the baby boy and were really gentle. They were always with him. After a few days, Jen observed that Kona had become very calm. She used to be super playful before, but she would lay around lazily after the baby was home. She would wait for the baby to sleep and bring some toys to play with.

Nala, on the other hand, was the more patient sibling. Jen’s son would slap on Nala’s face playfully and pull her nose, but the patient dog would just let him play with her. Jen was delighted that her son would grow up and reach milestones with the two dogs by his side.
